The top 4 attractions in Chelsea

Chelsea London is no doubt one of the most affluent areas in the city. Unfortunately, however, not many see it as a location that’s worth visiting – due to the premonition that there isn’t much to do there. We’ll be dispelling that myth, and sharing some of the best experiences we feel will do your holiday in London proud.

The Chelsea Physic Garden

The oldest botanical garden in London, the Chelsea Physic Garden continues to be one of the most important centres for botany in the world. Originally founded in 1973, it continues to represent the history of plant exchange in the British Empire. The cost for the experience is £9.90 for an adult ticket and £6.60 for students.

The Saatchi Gallery

First opening in 1985, the Saatchi Gallery is in a class of its own. Currently, the gallery is exhibiting art from Africa and Latin America. Luckily, entry to the museum is free – so there’s no reason not to visit.

The Duke of York Square

After visiting the Saatchi gallery, you’ll find yourself close to the Duke of York Square, a delightful place for a lunchtime meal or coffee. On a Saturday, the square holds a great market with food stalls offering foods such as steak sandwiches, sushi, and duck wraps.

Jazz at Pizza Express

If you’re a fan of jazz music, then this is the place you want to visit. Located in an old building on Kings Road, downstairs you’ll be privy to fantastic orchestral and solo performances in comfortable around the venue – while you enjoy some of the best pizza in the city of course.

Luxury hotel rooms

With all of those sites, it’s clear that there’s a lot to do. So why not book your stay in Central this season, and discover what Chelsea has to offer. While it might seem more logical to book your place in Chelsea, it’ll be at the cost of having to travel to a lot of central attractions.

And ideally, you want to reduce the amount of time we spend commuting on our holidays. The Marble Arch Hotel London Oxford Street is within walking distance to the best attractions of the city. Book one of the luxury hotel rooms and experience London at its finest, and be sure to remember to visit Chelsea.
